** UPDATE ** The winner was #17 Debbie Jackson. Thanks for enterting, everyone!
This is so exciting. I love photo books! I used to think that I would someday make a picture book titled Nobody Knows the Toilets I've Seen chronicling the variety of bathrooms that I've experienced in my life. I never did make that, but when I do it will earn me millions for sure! Instead, I got from Blurb a couple of weeks ago because it is a whole book packed full of pictures of my baby's second year of life (definitely more appealing than toilets). And I had the best experience with Blurb because you can upload pictures from almost anywhere you have pictures (your computer, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) so you don't have to pre-sort everything. Also, they you can fill the book yourself, or the program will prefill it for you.
But wait, it gets better. Blurb is helping me give away a $50 gift card so that you can create a book as snazzy as my book of Lily. You could also make a cookbook or a portfolio, or a book of your blog. The opportunities are almost endless.
To enter the giveaway for the $50 Blurb gift card, leave a comment below saying what you will make a photo book of. Grandkids? Recipes? Bathrooms? If you happen to want an additional entry, "Like" Life and Kitchen on Facebook and leave a separate comment saying so. If you are already my friend then just leave a comment telling me that we've been BFFs forever.
And what's awesome is that anyone in the whole world can win! So get on it. The giveaway will end on 11/24/12 and I will email the randomly selected winner. If he or she doesn't respond in 2 days then a new winner will be selected.
