Coupons

I have a problem.  An addiction of sorts.  Coupons.  Sales.  Deals.  I can't get enough.  I suppose that it could be an addiction of survival because without the coupons we might not eat, but it is also the thrill of the hunt.  And the anger related to the fact that iceberg lettuce at the grocery store down the street went from 99¢ to $1.99 overnight.

If you look closely at the picture above, you will see that I saved almost $89 on a $153 grocery bill.  Hooray!  It's no Coupon Mom, but I am somewhat skeptical of her methods.  How is it at all possible to pay a quarter for $100 worth of groceries?

If you look even more closely at the picture you will see that I bought Special K, V-8 juice, and Kleenex.  Is that a January grocery bill or what?  The whole month consists of having a stuffy nose and trying to lose weight.  Sigh.
