Hi.

Welcome! I'm a new Pittsburgher and mom who is untrained in both life and cooking, but that just makes them both more exciting!

Candy Cane Kiss Marshmallow Dip

Before making this dip, I had no idea how popular candy cane kisses are!  They were completely sold out at the local grocery store.  The employees who were fulfilling my online order gave me the bad news, but I didn't believe them and had to see it for myself.  I don't get out of the house much these days, but an emergency is an emergency.  As it turns out, they were right.  There was a whole aisle stocked full of red, green, and silver packages with one gaping hole right in the middle of the Hershey section.  I had seen this dip recipe on Lauren's Latest and I was impatient to incorporate my recently made marshmallow cream into a recipe.  Luckily, Walgreens saved the day.

And while getting the kisses was a bit of a goose chase, this dip is exactly the opposite.  It takes less than 5 minutes to make, and is definitely a crowd pleaser (even Jake liked it and he doesn't like marshmallow!).  It reminds me of the easy pumpkin dip from late last year that is so perfect for fall.  Soon enough, I'll probably have a collection of 5 minute dips for every season.  There are certainly worse things to collect.  Creepy clown figurines.  Cats.  STDs.  I think we can all agree that quick dips are the clear winner here.
