a.k.a. Jake's side of the family.  They hail from central New York and they are a rowdy bunch.  Jake's mom makes a mean chocolate chip cookie (which I will someday get her to write about).  His dad can usually be found out fishing on his boat or dreaming about being on the boat.  His sister, Katie, is an animal lover/travel agent/NY State wine connoisseur, and his other sister, Carrie, is a new mom to the cutest little boy that you could find.  Combine this bunch with the rest of their extended family and you are guaranteed to need a nap from all of the excitement that goes on!
